母親がホメオパシーの助言の方を好み、その赤ちゃんの耳の感染症に抗生物質を用いるのを拒否した。その赤ちゃんはさらに病状が悪化し、最終的に髄膜炎で入院した。その赤ちゃんは死亡した。

This case report is about a woman who used a homeopathic malaria preventative, but contracted malaria. At one point she suffered multiple organ failure.

この症例報告はホメオパシー的マラリア予防手段を用いたがマラリアに感染した女性に関するものである。ある時点で、彼女は多臓器不全を患った。

[追記] これらの犠牲者達はメディアで報道されるなどしてホメオパシーが関係していた事がはっきりと裏付けされた一握りの人達であり、実際にはもっと多くの人達が犠牲となっているのではないかと考えられます。日本でもホメオパシーの問題を知った批判者達が警告を出していましたが、残念ながら(日本でも)同様な犠牲者が何人か出てしまいました。
これ以上、ホメオパシーという迷信により犠牲となる人達が広がらないことを願います。
